"Victoria's Secret Angels" are the brand's most visible models and spokeswomen. The VS Angels made their début in 1999 in the fourth annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It was broadcast online and attracted 1.5 million viewers. Thousands of people weren’t even able to view the show due to the huge amounts of traffic trying to access the website. The show made it’s first appearance on television in 2001.
Daniela Pestova, Karen Mulder, Laetitia Casta, Heidi Klum, Stephanie Seymour, and Tyra Banks are among the "Angels" from the original promotion.

Czech model Veronika Varekova appeared in the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated a total of eight times: 1999-2002 and 2004-2007. She appeared on the cover in 2004. In addition to SI, Veronika was regularly featured in Victoria's Secret but decided not to renew her contract in 2004. Too bad cause cause she is HOT!
